Exit Junction 32 of M4, take the A470 then A468 and follow the signs for Caerphilly.

Public Transport

On Sunday 13 September Caerphilly Town will host the Bryn Meadows 10K Run. As a result there will be some disruption to bus services from the start of service until 1200.

There are car parks within the town centre in close proximity to the starting line, including the Caerphilly Park and Ride, Crescent Road, St Martin’s School, Twyn Car Park (Restricted exit until Route is opened to the public following the run) and Aber Railway Station.

If using any of the town centre car parks you are advised to reach them prior to 09:00 to allow time for the implementation of the road closures that will be in place for the event.

Coach Parking

The town’s main coach park is located off Crescent Road, which is a 2 minute walk from the start of the race.


Temporary toilets will be available at the start / finish line to complement the permanent toilets near Caerphilly Railway Station at the top end of Caerphilly town centre and below the VisitCaerphilly Centre at the lower end of the town centre.


The town centre is host to a number of high quality public houses, cafes and food outlets. (Please check for details of Sunday opening hours)
